The Game Corner
Every Wednesday, from 3 to 5 p.m., there is a friendly video game tournament for teens at "The Game Corner." This program features a different game each week, with recent selections including TowerFall, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Mario Kart 8, and Guitar Hero Live. The winner of the tournament chooses the next week's game. Snacks and refreshments are provided and no registration is required.
It is time to role-play your character to treasures and honors only limited by your imagination. Join fellow teens in playing "Pathfinder" this fall, where creativity is encouraged.
This group is limited to ten participants for entirety of Fall 2017 session. Contact the library regarding space before attending this event.
Sometimes it's good to disconnect from electronic media and play a good ol' board game. On the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, teens can congregate and delve into the fun of collaborative and competitive board games. Games like "Ticket to Ride," "Pandemic," "Munchkin," "Apples to Apples," and "The Settlers of Catan" will be available to learn and play.
