Friends of the Library Lucky Duck Race 

The Friends of the Pendleton Community Public Library are pleased to present the 4th annual Lucky Duck Race!  The Lucky Duck race will be held in the creek at Falls Park during the Heritage Fair, on Saturday, September 9th at 2:00 p.m. This year, the Friends are "Honoring Our Friends Who Keep Us Healthy." There are lots of opportunities to register your lucky duck who may just win the BIG prize of a $100 Visa gift card! The second place prize is a $50 Amazon card, and the third place prize is a $25 Amazon card. To enter the duck race, stop by the library at any time. Or visit the Friends of the Library booth at the following events.

• Friends of the Library Book Sale, July 14 - 19
• Various sponsor locations on Saturdays from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
• Brown Pool Open Swim, August 1st from 8:30 - 10:30 p.m.
• Heritage Fair, September 8th all day, September 9th, entries must be received by noon.  Ducks race at 2:00 p.m.

Entry to the race is $5, and every entry comes with a commemorative duck for you to keep. You will also be assigned a racing duck which will float just as fast as it can to the finish line.
