If you are a resident or taxpayer in Fall Creek, Green or Adams Townships, you may fill out an application to get a library card at no charge.  The library's policy requires verification of your current address in order to receive a library card. A current driver’s license, utility bill, voter’s registration or pre-printed checks can all be used for address verification. You will receive a library card at the time of registration.  You are then ready to use the Pendleton Community Library!

 

 

 

 

Loan periods, item limits renewals and fines vary by format. Some materials are restricted for for borrowers under the age of 18. Items may be renewed on the library’s website, or by calling 778-7527. Items may not be renewed if another patron has placed a hold on that title.

The Pendleton Community Library has a dedicated area for performing local history and genealogical research. The library also subscribes to Heritage Quest and Ancestry.com. These two databases can also assist patrons in their genealogical research. Barb Donnell, the Adult Reference Librarian, is always happy to assist patrons with their local research.

 

 

 

 

The library has several meeting spaces available for use by the public. The community room seats up to 100 and can be reserved at no charge to not-for-profit groups in the library district. The community room can also be divided into two smaller rooms, able to accommodate groups of 50. The community room includes amenities such as a kitchenette, an LCD projector, and DVD player. Patrons interested in utilizing the community room may call 778-7527 to reserve the space. A policy agreement and room set-up form must be filled out and signed before using the community room.  Completed forms may be faxed to 778-7529.  A Library staff member will contact you to finalize your room reservation. 

 

The library also has two small tutoring rooms, one for children and one for adults. These rooms can accommodate small groups with less than ten people. Patrons can reserve these rooms by calling 778-7527. Signing an agreement form is not required for use of the tutoring rooms.
